<p>Loretta, the heroine of the novel "The Duke's Four Children," was brought to me by my wicked mother one day. And I am Melody, the villain in said novel who, along with my mother, was punished for harassing the Duke's precious little girl. I didn't want to die like that, so I decided to take good care of her. Loretta was fed, put to sleep, and played with. And her response was...? "I sincerely hope Melody marries Loretta!" I ended up accompanying her back to the Duke's mansion, where she declared, "I'll stick close to Ms. Melody!" Is there anyone who has ever been such a 'fool for Melody'?! Why am I loved when all I've done is be nice to her in order to live peacefully...</p>
