The Eighth Consciousness

Ling Hong’s adopted mother, Dr. Ling, conducts strange research on consciousness. One night, Ling trusts her notes to Hong just as a group of suspicious people belonging to “The Company” storm into their home. On that terrifying night, Ling is taken, and Hong’s adopted little sister, Yu, is killed after accused of being a fugitive from a lab. Years later, Hong has used Ling’s notes to become a “Consciousness Separation Expert,” knowing all about the power of being able to separate one’s consciousness from the body. As he investigates strange paranormal cases, he also undergoes searches for his foster mother and the dangerous group that took her.
