Daikichi Oogami, a 52-year-old man, is in charge of protecting the Earth from space monster invasions by turning into a giant and fighting them off. However, he has now become a laughingstock, with his battles becoming entertainment for many. However, his son, Daichi Oogami, is frustrated at the fact that his father's battles are seen as comedy skits.
